Additional Characteristics
Hands-On Culinary Program:
Veritas understands that food can be a challenging component of the eating disorder recovery process. Therefore, Veritas has developed a one-of-a-kind culinary program that provides patients the skills they need to confidently navigate mealtime when patients return home.
Education Program:
Adolescents in need of eating disorder treatment at inpatient, acute residential, or partial hospitalization levels of care are often challenged to seek those levels of care due to conflicts with school hours and academic trajectory. Veritas provides college-preparatory level academic support through highly skilled educational consultation with a certified secondary education specialist, enabling simultaneous treatments and appropriate academic progress.
Family Program (Every Weekend):
In addition to receiving individualized family therapy that focuses on each family’s specific needs, Veritas also provides a unique treatment experience with Multi-Family Programs each weekend.
Art Therapy:
A Full-time Art Therapist provides individuals the opportunity to express their emotions and ideas nonverbally in a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere through individual and group art therapy sessions.
